Beautiful. You understand what you’ve done here, don’t you?

What the literature birds call “parallel plot”, or what I like to call “asynchonous timelines,” is very easy to do in short stories, novels, television shows, and movies, but it is very hard to do in blogging.

BUT YOU HAVE DONE IT!!!

And you didn’t even need a time machine to do it. I have one if you, or anyone else, want to borrow it. It’s really not mine… the time machine belongs to SlackJaw, but I have the keys, which is the same thing as “having it.” We used it a lot two summers ago:

So, I went forward to August 1st to watch you deliver this speech, but I didn’t get to see it because someone dumped the giant cooler of “sparkling alcohols” onto the winner of “Best Drunk Post” and set off a donnybrook. What I saw looked fun. We are going to have fun!
