Disaster is exciting. The wildfire isn’t really that interesting until it threatens Los Angeles, but I think that it’s more than that… in my case, anyway.

I love destruction and have to constantly fight even self-destruction. There it is. A lifetime spent learning that glazing a window is so much harder and less invigorating than breaking one.

I glaze windows now. I have three to do this summer from a window at the back of my little barn. I’m not looking forward to it, but when it is done I will have some kind of satisfaction.
