Media is a Denial of Service Attack on Your Brain
Tony Stubblebine

I took a lot of media training troughout my career and I was taught the following “Dog bites man, no story. Man bites dog, story.” The need to sensationalize is what has motivated the media to abandon a story that is phasing out for another one that will grab the headlines. It is the shiny new toy method of reporting.
