Thank you! I’ve felt this gaping hole in the productivity world for years. Everything is driven by metrics and quantities with no real effort to determine quality. Even goals are set superficially based on measurables rather than based on our truest desires. We’re told to make so much money and then we’ll be happy, and then we’re left feeling like failures when that money doesn’t make us happy.
And so much of productivity is one-size-fits-all, assuming everyone has the same cognitive talents and that everyone has the same base skill set, which is just not true. If you’re a middle class+ neurotypical white male who is content to be a corporate drone, you *might* have the personality, cognitive talents, and social skills that work well with traditional productivity, but if you don’t fit neatly in that category? You’re pretty much struck trying to figure it out on your own.
So glad to see expansion beyond that. ❤
