How to start with Data Science & Machine Learning?

1. Start with Math. (2–3 Month)

You don’t need to be an Expert at Math.

If you are beginner then Follow

- 3Blue1Brown (Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability & Statics) YouTube

- Khan Academy (Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Probability) YouTube

- Neso Academy (Math) YouTube

If you are Good at Math then

1. Start with Linear Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Probability from Mit linear algebra / Calculus / Statistics and Probability course.

2. Choose a Programming Language (1 Month)

Python, R ( You don’t need to be expert at 2 Programming Language) choose 1 whether you are comfortable in.

Start with basic in Python & R then after you will go for Advanced. for the Software download (Anaconda, RStudio).

3. Get Familiar with Structured Query Language (SQL) it will take 1 Month, You go through W3Schools and other free courses available on Coursera, Edx and Youtube too.

Software — pgAdmin Tools.

4. Getting Familiar with Machine Learning Algorithm. (2 Months). Courses are available for free on Coursera, Edx, Udemy and other Youtube Videos.

Why should you use it?

When to use it?

Advantages, Applications, and Drawbacks.

Then after that Download the Datasets from Kaggle, UCI Machine Learning Repository. Practice as much as you can.

After that when it comes to Visualization Get Started with Tableau.(1 Month)

Knowing the Basic & Advanced function with Excel will be really helpful.(1 Month)

Apart from that if you have time then follow Mit algorithm classes.

Then the last step is to apply for Many internships & Jobs through Linkedin, Naukri, Angelist, Glassdoor, etc and the rest you will learn while doing the Job. About the resume let’s make it simple and clear 1 Page. Maximum 2 Page.

Congrats Now you are Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer.

Thanks for reading, Have a Great week ahead. and don’t forget to share the success stories of yours.
