Here are two examples that I think they are good design.

These two pages have a title about what the research or the project is, a picture at the side, a short paragraph to describe it. Although the typeface of the title don’t have that big contrast with the typeface of the paragraph, the layout of the paragraph and the picture makes the post more innovative.

Changing the background color on example one actually follow the alignment rule that make all the content all fall into that colored box. For second example, the paragraoh has the same width and length as the picture that’s given, which follows the rule of allignment too.

The potential readers of this site would be the student who want to do research or project on campus. By looking at this site, it will at least give the reader a brief idea about what the project or research does, due to the picture at the side of the reading.
