What is a MetCon?
Metabolic Conditioning (MetCon) is typically a group of exercises put together repeated for rounds. Working your strength/muscular endurance/cardiovascular and aerobic conditioning, It’s an epic way to burn fat. Some MetCon’s deal with maximum cardio effort while using body-weight, light weight, medium weight, and for the beasts, heavy weight. They will get your heart rate up, boost metabolism, maintain and sometimes even BUILD lean muscle. Where normal boring cardio won’t really keep your interest or get you that pump in the gym, MetCon use a little bit of both worlds…helping you target different energy systems for varying results.
