Writing tools have greatly matured. Medium is doing an impressive job in that front. (So good that Facebook is visibly imitating it.)
But the challenge now is not to ease writing, but it is to help writers being read; especially when they write well.
Evan, Medium is a great innovative tool for writing already. But in terms of networking, it lacks creative and novel ideas; it sticks to conventions.
Oh, and it doesn’t support right-to-left scripts for languages like Arabic, Persian, etc.
