Thank you Kim. It’s a gray area I think, and perhaps in the awkwardness of approaching those each of us is interested in, it’s part of the bargain. The fundamental issue is to evolve our society so that women and men seek mutual consent, always. period. When we get to that point, then perhaps our nature of being attracted to beauty in the gender we prefer will not be viewed as a threat. In our current context of rape culture, I understand that an unwanted stare can be scary, especially if the woman feels isolated. In that situation, an astute man would be better off saying something nice to be friendly instead of staring. :) If only we were smarter. :) cheers to you and thank you again for your open discussion and explanation.
