What Is DDoS Attack?

Today we can discuss about DDoS Attack:

DDoS Attack full form is Distributed Denial Of Services Attack. This is a very common attack that is mostly used by black hat hackers. In this attack a hacker send many requests to the website and the website is unavailable for the users. This attack is illegal to used on any website. I can give you an example to explain this term in more simple words.

For Example:

If there is a online shopping site on the internet and website only holds 50 users at a time. If 100 users visit this particular website at a same time. So, the website goes down.

Now the question raised in your mind is what benefits to the hackers to do this attack.

The hackers used this attack when they get revenge and also used this attack for money. Yes, now your question is why they get money from it. Simply, suppose if there are two shopping sites. One can sell 1000 products one day and the other sell 900 products in one day. Now the competition is build in these two websites. If the second website owner is corrupt. So, he/she can used illegal way to sell his/her more products. In this way the second website owner take money to the black hat hacker and said him to take down the first website. So, the hacker used DDos attack to bring down the website. The benefit for the second website owner is he/she can gain more customers.

This attack is famous due to anonymous group. They can used many DDoS attacks on many government websites.
