Falling for Florals
“Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.” If you can place that quote we can be best friends! If not, you probably need to put your life on hold and watch more TV.
What is for reals groundbreaking is florals for FALL. Yep, you read that right. One of the biggest trend for fall and this coming winter is florals. Two types of florals to be exact. (Maybe more, don’t quote me on that.)
All over we are seeing muted and blush toned florals, like in my above look. They are soft and delicate, and can easily be layered with textures like coats, sweaters etc.
**Note: there is a difference between muted pinks and bright pinks especially when we are talking about wearing florals seasonally. Stay away from bright, busy colors when adding florals to your wardrobe for fall and winter.
The dress that I am wearing above, is sadly sold out. However, I have linked some perfect muted florals/blush floral pieces for you to check out below! Just click the picture to see details.
If something is strappy on top, remember you can always throw on a pull over knit, or layer with a long sleeve top.
The second way to wear flawlessly wear florals this fall is with darker tones! This is called winter florals. The colors are typically darker, deeper, have winter flowers in the mix, or include jewel tones in them. Winter florals have got to be my favorite. I love the edge it brings to the typical take on a femine print.
Good news-this outfit of mine is full stocked! So, if you wanted to, you could copy my exact look.
