NYFW Day 3-Monday 9/11:

This was such a busy day full of endless PR meetings, but first off I wanted to acknowledge the date. We stayed right across from the World Trade Center, and it was such a somber experience. It took my breath away looks out our hotel window and seeing the fountains roped off, the streets closed, and so many officers standing in tribute to all those who were lost on 9/11. I am so glad that I was right there to pray my respect, and listen to stories from that day.

We started the day off early rushing off to SoHo for a PR meeting. On the way, we jumped out of our car a few blocks early and took some outfits pictures with Ashley.

The four of us girls had a great meeting at a PR firm that focuses on beauty-it was so much fun! Plus we got sent home with so many goodies to try out.

On to the next PR meeting! It was more of a gifting suite with brunch and a casual get to know you deal. It felt so good to just stuff my face and sit down for a few. I also was introduced to so many brands! Some were up and coming, and some were bigger well-known ones. There were a lot of hands-on stations, if you watched my IG Stories while I was there you might remember I picked out a couple of charms for a necklace, and made a custom nail polish shade! I left with another bag full of goodies!

For so long, I have been working with Baublebar so naturally I was super excited to finally meet this sweet girls face to face and stop by the Baublebar headquarters! All of their stuff is always SO good! I love the dainty layering pieces, and of course statement earrings!

By this time I was exhausted and just needed to not be walking all over NYC while carrying a bunch of heavy bags. I decided to cancel my mid afternoon plans, and just head back to the hotel room. BEST CHOICE EVER. Put my feet up, drank a Diet Coke, and a handful of chocolate.

After I was re-energized, I headed to my last PR meeting of the day. It was one that I had been dying to get in touch with, so it was perfect.

We all wanted to do something fun + super trendy for dinner that night. Beauty & Essex was perfect for fulfilling that want! We shot a couple of looks while waiting for our table, then eat our weight in lobster mac’n cheese, tomato soup & grilled cheese soup dumplings, and tacos.

Lauren and I still had one more to-do on our list for that day: Chinese Laundry! We both felt super important because Chinese Laundry sent us shoes to our hotel room before the event so we could dress our feet properly. This wasn’t as much of a show as it was a party. Kristin Cavallari was there, all of the investors for the brand, and a few celebs. We just kinda walked about low key star struck, ordered drinks, and hung out while checking out the new collection.

NYFW Day 4 Recap:

This was the last day, and it was one of my favorites! The day started bright and oh-so early at 7am with Glamsquad. Glamsquad sent two people each for us, one make-up artist, and another hair stylist. I can’t even tell you how nice it was to just sit on my bed and zone out while someone else made me pretty. #sotired.

Threw on my clothes and did a couple of outfit pictures with Ashley before running to the first PR meeting of the day.

This PR meeting was SO AMAZING!! I am sure you saw on Stories that we got to raid the shelves and pick out so so many goodies! Urban Decay, Huda Beauty, Bliss, Peter Thomas Roth (I swear by these products), and so many more. It was a real life dream come true!

After I raided the beauty closets, and candy shelves, it was time for the next PR meeting. I had been emailing back and forth with this firm for awhile, and it was so nice to get to see them in real life!

It was then time for a quick outfit change at the hotel (read as: diet coke + chocolate fuel up), followed up hoping in another car to yet another PR firm! At this one, it was more of a open house type style, so we stopped it and I got my hair styled in the best braided up do by Aveda.

Closed out the very last night of NYFW with the PINKO xCoca Cola Party. Perfect party for me, coke products everywhere, and even the fashion was Coca Cola inspired! Heaven on Earth. My date for the party was Lauren, and afterward we stopped by Cookie DO and walked the whole way back to our hotel. It was perfection. And we only got lost twice! #progress

Cheers until next year NYFW!
