PMD at home Microdermabrasion

Jul 16, 2018 · 3 min read

My skin has always been WORK. Never ever has it been easy, and for as long as I can remember I have always struggled with dry patches, oily spots, and volcano sized break outs. Plus I am now at the fun age of fine lines and wrinkles popping up. (you can’t hear through this blog post but if you could you would hear me scream crying.)

I have had to go in to get facials, and expensive microdermabrasion done a couple of times a month. (Microdermabrasion is a procedure that uses both suction and exfoliation to remove the top layer of dead skin. The end result is being left with smooth baby soft skin that is able to absorb your skincare products much better.)

Recently I began using the PMD (Personal Microderm) and I have been AMAZED guys! Not only am I saving time and money with this at home tool, but I am getting the same (if not better) results using this myself than visiting pricy salons.

The PMD has a patented spinning disc technology along with suction that gently exfoliates my skin. Each time I use it, I am left with soft as a baby’s bottom skin, and a brighter complexion! This has also helped the appearance of my fine smile lines, as well as my breakout have decreased.

How long did it take to see results?

I noticed a smoother face, and more plump complexion the very first time I used it. For my fine lines to appear smaller and my acne to decrease I would say it took me personally about a month, which is 4 uses.

How often can you use the PMD?

Once a week! You want to have yourself a nice exfoliation, but don’t want to over do it and be too rough on your skin.

What are the spinning exfoliation discs made of?

The tops of them are made of Aluminum Oxide crystals, which is the same that you will find in any professionals office. They are safe, non-toxic and are not carcinogenic. Each disc lasts about 3–4 uses. You’ll get a few when you buy the PMD, and can always order more.

What do the different color of discs mean?

The colors of the discs represent the strength and intensity of them. Checkout this link to compare them, and to see which one would work best for you.

All said and done, I honestly wish I would have started using the PMD in my skincare routine years ago! I highly recommend this to everyone!! Let me know if you have anymore questions and I will do my best to answer them :)
