Why we have banned default exports in Javascript and you should do the same
Krzysztof Kaczor

Having multiple named exports in one module basically means that you lose your module’s object and put its public interface on the export system’s object. Does that sound right? For me it doesn’t.

This also renders each named export static and tightly coupled so I don’t see how that is any help with refactoring. If anything it could make refactoring a nightmare.

Named exports are great for namespacing. namespacing is a job for the export system, exposing API is not.
