I love a good cutting torch as much as the next girl, believe me, there’s just something about fire and fabrication (and alliteration, ha!). After finishing second in my welding class, the instructors were pressed to admit women just might make good welders.

Definitely some swearing ;-) A sailor’s right of passage, oh and don’t forget the bucket of rum! *wink*

Shipped out to my first vessel catching it on a Western Pacific Deployment in Japan. It had only been 2 years since women were allowed to serve on ANY Navy ship. So yeah, I’m old, too. :-)
