The friendly developer manifesto

— Be open-minded

— Be nice and friendly towards your team

— Be patient

— Don’t think you’re the only one that can produce value

— Hand off responsibility to someone else

— Trust people will learn enough to get the job done

— Let others see your code and review it as soon as possible

— When leaving feedback, don’t impose your style immediately

— Don’t give useless feedback like ‘too basic error handling’

— If a style violates book principles but conforms to the code base’s style, accept it. Period.
