After reading the chapter “Do this and you will be welcome anywhere” I learned we must not be aggressive and reactive but show humbleness and keep calm. If we behave politely, patiently, calmly, friendly, supportive, cooperative and most importantly being interested than other person will feel comfort with us. It is just like you have to win the heart of other person it may be your customer, your boss, your officer etc. If you are a sales person your goal is to sale your product no matter what is the nature of customer. You have to Be polite, humble, and gentle and if your customer shows aggressiveness, or negative behavior or customer will not want product from you than you must keep calm leave that shop for some hours than again go back to that shop and politely negotiate with your customer being interested in your customer, try to sort out the solution of problems your customer is facing. This will obviously help you in selling your product or making that customer your regular customer. So, I learned how to show peace while selling products of an organization, how to make loyal regular customers, how to handle aggressive customers, how to win hearts of your customers, how to being interested in your customers, employees etc
I think being interested is very intelligent and smart strategy to show your interest in someone else. I will apply being interested strategy in my real life by becoming friendly with others make myself supportive for others try to sort out the solution of problems others are facing. Try to find out alternate or options which will help others. In professional life I will be interested with my colleagues, other employees, staff, co workers etc. This will help me to work with them and obviously this will help me in performing my job well. If I will be a marketing manager being interested strategy will help me a lot as sales or marketing person should be humble or show interest in their customers, feel their customer comfort and assure your customer that your product is best and your product has a solution for your problem. I will use this strategy in my future life.
