Mr Moody

Snapshots and Half Lifes

There once was a teacher named Mr Moody- a bright young spark with a fresh master’s degree from Cambridge and all kinds of innovations for the school. During assemblies his animated brown eyes would shine as his zest forced him to dance across the stage before perching down onto the edge for dramatic effect. He would give motivational speeches about how the possibilities in this world are limitless. How hard work ensures a bright future- not to listen to the overwhelming evidence pointing to the fact that degenerates breed degenerates from one generation to the next. No.

“You are all capable of greatness.”

I wanted to believe his message- that the stars were within my reach- as much as he wanted to affect success in our withered souls. At the end of the year he left; back to Cambridge to get his PhD in chemistry.

The importance of achievable goals.
