How are you and how is work? I am Halima Amadou from Niger Republic, West Africa.I was a former English teacher having taught English for 14 years in high schools in Niger Republic. Niger Republic is a French speaking country but as I have studied English at the University of Niamey, Niger where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English language and in Colchester English Study Centre in ESSEX, England. I am a human rights defender on volunteer basis on my free time. I have a Master I and Master in Projects management or business administration.
I help women and children victims of domestic violence to get their rights at the court modern or islamic or at the police station. I was former 1st rapporteur of Niger Republic National and Independent Electoral Commission on behalf of human rights organizations from 2010 to 2011 during the transitional regime ( military )after the coup d’état in Niger.
I am a peacekeeper as well for having received many peace trainings at Kofi Annan Peacekeeping training centre in Accra Ghana and in Germany with ZIF in 2006. So I am electoral observer of Ecowas and African Union. With this title I observed many elections in West Africa ( Guinea Conakry, Togo, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau )and recently in Kenya with the Carter Center.
