The Chill Doctrine for Americans

Here we are…

The problem is we don’t understand our own values.

We have stopped thinking about our culture from a philosophical standpoint.

No one talks about the balance between fiscal and monetary policy and where the differences are. It’s just a bunch of people taking credit for things they had nothing to do with.

Isn’t this an American thing? Do we realize that we take credit for things we had nothing to do with? Do we think about the implications of this behavior?

Please.

Try and get a consistent definition of “patriarchy,” and you’ll understand.

And it’s always too late for everything. We’re all doomed, too. Always dramatic.

We are a dramatic culture.

And we like to get hammered.

I’m not quite sure we’re vain, to be honest. It’s more like we can be described by a word that’s close to, but not quite, vanity.

Entitled?

All of us Americans have an outsized sense of entitlement.

If we’re chill, though? The US has such potential when we chill out. Calm down, follow the chill doctrine.

Markets are calmer when everyone is chill.

A clever man or woman making money gambling on corporate balance sheets would be given a pat on the back in a chill society. They wouldn’t be deities or favorite sons and daughters, they would be clever kids. And that would be sufficient, because no one would feel entitled to more.

See how it works?

Do you notice how we feel entitled to an opinion? Is this an expression in other languages? I can’t say more until I know the answer.

If all were chill, though? You know what I mean, I know you do.

And we would think more. That’s kind of the point. We don’t think about things here… no, finna grind.
