5 in 5 — Day 5

That escalated quickly

Well probably no one was expecting it — to be honest, not even myself. But after being into that lost and found concept, I just decided to change my hair.

I’ll explain that: I am used to change my hair time to time, and after that search, I just felt like it. I think it now matches myself more than ever before. Maybe thinking too much about it made me find a new thing.

The quote this time is one that bugged me a lot before:

“Fundamental é mesmo o amor, é impossível ser feliz sozinho” — Tom Jobim

It translates into:

“Fundamental is love, it’s impossible to be happy alone”

This bugged me for a long time until the end of this project. I used to think that it was pretentious and somehow depressing on the perspective that you could never be happy unless you have someone with you. For those who doesn’t know it, it is from a largely well known bossa nova song, called wave. It goes well with “Day 2” quote.

But at the end of this experiment, I was happy to agree with Tom Jobim’s Wave lyric.

After you find yourself and you learn to properly love yourself, you’re never alone. You’ll never feel alone if you’re comfortable with yourself.

So, the last piece I’ve done was cutting and dyeing my own hair.

Before and during the process. You can see the desperate look on the last picture.

I hope a haircut counts as a final object of art. I am glad with the results.
