Cuff-links Elucidated

This is one piece of jewelry which is both functional and ornamental. Have you ever tried them? If not, you are truly missing out so much. This is probably one of the best methods to get those compliments rolling in.
Cuff-links are the perfect substitute to the buttons sewn to cuffs. They will fasten your cuffs and add a little bit of extra personality to your outfit.
Although cuff-links are traditionally associated with men’s semi-formal evening wear, these resourceful fasteners can be paired immaculately with a wide range of wardrobe roles. If you have a long-sleeved shirt with the button-holes in the cuff you can work cuff-links into almost any outfit you desire.

Types of Cuff-links

Cuff-links can be worn with either single cuffs, which appear to be regular buttoning dress shirt’s cuffs but with holes on both sides of the opening, or with doubled-back “French” cuffs. French cuffs will have two holes on either side of the opening, which should line up one atop the other when you fold the cuff back.

Hold Your Pants in Place in Style

The simple task of wearing a belt when done right, confirms you as a man who knows his clothes. A discrepancy or any other error shows that you have a fair bit more to learn about being well-dressed.
Common sense is all you need to learn the art of wearing / finding the perfect belt. These also allow one to express their personal taste. Dress belts should have a few inches of leather to the left of the buckle once it’s fastened. which will provide enough space to tuck under the first belt loop, or the loop on the belt if it processes one. Casual belts have a little more room for flexibility, but a long tail end is definitely not an appropriate look.

Clip it Like a Boss

A tie pin should extend 1/2 to 3/4 of the way across the width of your tie. If it’s a retro look you are looking for, opt for a tie bar that suits the complete width of your tie. Despite your preference, avoid wearing a tie bar that extends beyond the width of your tie in order to avoid looking ridiculous.
The placement of your tie pin is a crucial factor. The ideal placement is around the middle to bottom of your torso. Clip too high and the clip is rendered ineffectual. Too low will look awkward and even a bit silly.
