4chan is a reaction to anti-liberal, anti-free speech, guilt-ridden SJW “progressives” who are intent on implementing their own warped brand of racism and sexism in mainstream culture (yes, I’m talking to you, nonwhites and women: you CAN be racist and sexist, regardless of how much you desperately want to redefine those words and free yourself from the guilt caused by your hate). The dogmatic cult of PC culture is often little more than hate speech disguised as victimhood.

And yet still, the author’s response is to dismiss them as coddled white boys living in their parent’s basements?

In fact, despite accusations of privilege and coddling, you deny the very obvious truth that you already dominate the mainstream media, Hollywood, and, until Trump (and 4chan) ruined it for you, the government. Check your own privilege.
