But, as Ev Williams and many others have pointed out — Medium is a community, not a product — or something like that.

No — Medium is a platform; its users are the (long-term) product. And there’s really precious little community on Medium at the moment (more just a bunch of isolated voices in the wilderness).

But if you can do anything to support writers on Medium, I’m all for it :-).
