They have been talking about switching for years and still talking about it. Why haven’t they switched already ? There must be reasons for not switching. Even if miners argument doesn’t seem convincing to you there is another important reason and it is not having a solution for sharding. I totally agree with you about Larimer intentions. I’m not a fan of Larimer at all. Steemit is scam project and so is EOS. However he may get it to work and he will. EOS will not be secure in fact I think its not going to be a real blockchain project. This is what I wrote about EOS earlier, please pardon my language I didn’t mean to offend anybody, its just my writing style, I can’t help it: “Larimer is fucking genius, he is like the black wizard managing to do exactly the opposite of what he claims while keeping the deceived eternally happy :)))) Of course EOS will be fast, as there is no problem today to build something very fast. The only problem with it is that its not going to be a real blockchain :)))) Delegated proof of stake controlled entirely EOS insiders :))) You may as well skip the entire Proof of whatever. Why bother ? Do you know that STEEM both the currency and the network (another kind of blockchain with a block appearing every 3 sec) is controlled almost entirely by insiders as well ? With EOS Larimer thinks (and rightfully so) that if people are already so excited about blockchain and so many people are already in then why bother creating something based on real blockchain. Vitalik’s idea also was utopia from the beginning and eventually it won’t be at all what was intially promised but at least poor slim barely breathing Vitalik had good intentions from the very beginning :)))) Larimer I salut you regardless of your intentions, because you are genius !!!”
