That is true in a way. i believe when people go to doctors in the first place for depression they should try a placebo and if that doesnt work then move onto actual anti-depressants. I am someone who suffers from depression and I have been on meds for two years, I have greatly seen an improvement in my life style. I am more happy and have had 10x more energy. i was never put on the placebo I was the real meds and they have worked for me, my brother, and my sister. All three of us have greatly improved because of it. I don’t want to spend my entire life relying on meds to be happy though, so once Im done with college I plan to slowly get off antidepressents and rely on myself, I would keep my meds for bad days though. I do think you have a point and I have liked the points you have made.
