Use of pomodoro technique to get more done
Everyone knows once the time is gone, it’s gone, it can never come back but still there is a problem of procrastination with all of us in our lives that’s why we fail to be more productive. We kept delaying, until the time is gone.
As Benjamin Franklin said: “You may delay, but time will not”.
As I was learning about it, so thought how to deal with the problem of procrastination. There I came to know about “pomodoro technique” and applied it in completing a task, it worked very well. It was an amazing experience so thought to share with you too.

I had to do an online course, I applied this technique in doing that, It was almost a 2 hours long course so I thought to the technique of pomodoro. I set an alarm for a specific interval. As I started a course it rang after half an hour and I stopped doing and had a break for 5 min, and then again started doing it. I repeated this process for 3 more times until the course was done.
It helped me a lot, it seemed to be like the reinforcement as you get a reward of 5 minutes break after doing a task, so it reinforced me to do more and I did it. It was a bit difficult as I used to take in between breaks before too but there used to be no specific time of a break but this time it was specific. I felt no distraction and my brain was getting the content actively.
I’m going to apply this in other tasks too, because when the task gets divided into parts, it signals the brain that it’s short, the information gets to the brain in bits. So it seems to be easy doing. It will help me achieve my tasks and in being more productive as when we start utilizing our time wisely we become more productive. We feel like we have more time to do more tasks.
