Eat that frog with a Pomodoro

In the late 1980’s, Francesco Cirillo first came up with the Pomodoro system. Cirillo came up with the name (which is an Italian word for “tomato”) because he utilized a tomato-shaped egg timer when managing his time.

We always want to take reset and put the thing to tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes. To make a habit to do productivity and timely many techniques are used. One of them is Pomodoro.

The idea behind the Pomodoro Technique is to break down all of your tasks into 25 minutes time blocks. Between each time block, there is a five-minute break. And after completing four Pomodoro you take a longer break — usually 15 to 30 minutes.

In theory, this strategy works because you completely focus on one task (like writing) without shifting focus or multitasking. When the clock is ticking, you ignore the urge to check email, hop on Facebook, answer text messages or do any other distracting activity. You’re in the zone and completely focused.

I want to complete my Amal Fellowship Project on time. I use this, I set a Google timer to 25 and start my project’s online course. Meanwhile, in the project, I was going to distract and want to use mobile but I can’t because I’m on Pomodoro. After a few minutes, I just want to open Facebook but I don’t. Suppression in 25 minutes, I have a complete 2x times project, I did without this. It is really good. A good way to manage yourself and reduce the messing up things. More productive and efficient.

The time management is the most important for every task if you learn how to manage the time you can easily do the tasks.

1- Eliminate the multi-tasking habit.

2- Focus on the task at hand.

3- Get more things done because you’ll have a sense of urgency.

4- Avoid the perfectionist mindset by overly “fine-tuning” a project.

5- Build higher levels of willpower and concentration.

6- Decrease stress levels because you’re doing one thing at a time.

7- That just a taste of what your life could be like by using the Pomodoro technique. So let’s talk about to develop this time-blocking habit.
