Blockchain: A New Promise
We are living in a time where change is everywhere. If the change will stop our brains could not comprehend it. Our imagination works in a different way back from our ancestors. The changes we have seen as Millennials made us trying to change every aspect of our life. It’s like challenging old ways in our blood. Our generation is used to this change and one of those changes is Blockchain.
Blockchain has provided us with a new promise of freedom. Man is trying to find freedom for centuries now. Every time he put his hope in a new system, but when this system evolves, he found out that the freedom he was looking for does not exist. So far we tried democracy the result was somewhat successful, but then people found flaws in that system too, like gerrymandering and hypocrisy in word and actions. This created a lack of trust between the Government and its peoples. Then the era of Information technology came. We started believing in the new promise of freedom of information. As we know how it has been turning out. The information we thought was free became a source of destruction of privacy.
As Bitcoin was introduced we saw something that we have never seen before. A currency without anyone’s involvement and soon we start to think possibilities that we can create from this new technology. If we can create the most powerful thing in this world without some intervention. We can go far beyond that. As Don Tapscott mentioned before the blockchain, we were living in the era of the Internet of Information and now we are entering an era of the internet of value which he called internet 2.0.
Blockchain has far and wide implications and a promise that everyone in the network will be treated equally and our information will not be tampered with. Before that, we trusted the organization and they violated their power. And share our data with organizations that can use it against us or to their benefit. This saturation of power called for a solution for a decentralized system.
In blockchain everyone has power and on one control, it is a new promise to look for and we will see how it will turn out.
