ISIL are the modern day Khawarij who we were warned about…
Imam Muslim Ismail ibn Kathir who 500 years ago wrote: “If they (Khawarij) ever gained strength, they would surely corrupt the whole of the Earth, Iraq and Shaam [Syria]” (1). They have gained strength and are corrupting the Earth, and even hijacking the good name of Al Islam. Do not be fooled, or confused, these people are not the true Muslims. Do not join ISIL thinking that they are defenders, instead, know that they are opportunist, and are trouble makers. They have a history of overthrowing Muslim governments. Their by any means necessary, they are all guilty mentality, has no place in Islam. Their propaganda calls to making mischief in the land. They are those who rise up and lash out without authority and justification. Do not follow these interlopers because they will fail you and leave you in shamelessness. Beware them because they are the enemies of justice and order. They are not qualified to rule the Muslims and they do nothing but call this one and that one, disbelievers, devils, and corrupt. Ibn Kathir said, “they would not leave a baby, male or female, neither a man or a woman, alive.” This is what we see in the behavior of ISIL. They believe that the Muslims must be purged, as Ibn Kathir noted, “because as far as they are concerned the people have caused corruption, a corruption that cannot be rectified except by mass killing.” Do not follow these extremists who declare believers, disbelievers and are hyper judgmental. Judge the tree by the fruit it bears and now see that ISIL are (modern Khawarij) and are doing these extreme behaviors. (2)
