Fantom Foundation CEO Michael Kong clarified on Monday that the sudden departure by top software architects “Andre Cronje and Anton Nell” would not lead to the closure of any of the projects built on the protocol.
Cronje and Nell stopped “contributing” to the DeFi and crypto sectors on March 6 and announced that they will be leaving the team / will not be contributing to about 25 decentralized finance applications
“As many of you are aware, Anton Nell, who works with Andre Cronje, tweeted that they were ‘terminating’ 25 projects. This was misunderstood. They are ‘terminating’ their involvement, but handling over anything they run to the existing teams,”
Kong wrote on Twitter.
They both just stopped contributing to FANTOM which doesn’t mean closing the 25 projects.
