‘’Kindness is a mark of Faith, and whoever is not KIND, has no faith.’’ — Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Kindness is a strong and powerful tool to win the heart of others, the thing that money can’t buy. We as a Muslim, believe that there is no one more Kind than Allah. In-fact, Kindness is one of His ‘Sifat’ and He also bless us with it. This is because He wants to forgive our every single sin so that He is giving us some of His ‘Sifat’ to earn noble deeds.

Kindness is not about giving big charities, raising massive funds and giving great favors. It is all lies in small acts that make people happy and make them feel important. Smile is also an act of kindness.

For me, Kindness is really a big word and I as a human being, can’t be or act so generously but I always try to be a change in the society. It does not matter how small the change is, be the change.

‘’Small Changes Can Make A Big Difference’’

Here are some act that happen by me in the past couple of days and that lie under the shade of kindness…

1- Help Blind Person to cross the road:

A couple of days ago, I was waiting for a bus at stop and I saw a blind man waiting for someone. After some time, I realized that he is waiting to cross the road but no one there to help him. Without wasting any time, I approached him and helped him to cross the road. After that, he smiled and said to me, ’’Good bless you’’. That feeling was heart touching.

2- Give ride to an old man:

Two days ago, I was returning from AMAL session to my home and I saw an old man waiting for a transport under the action of sun. He was looking so weak and wet with sweat. I stopped by him and asked him where was he want to go. And I gave him a ride and dropped him in front of his house. He gave me a lot of blessings. He also offered me some drink but he already gave me something more important so I thanked him and left.

3- Give my turn to other:

Back in a day, I was at a bank to deposit some Bills and payments. There were a long line of people and the shade was not enough for all. So most of them was standing away from the shade, under the sun. What I see was, an old man standing in the lane, with a electricity bill and some cash in his hand and waiting for his turn. Just to deposit that electricity bill, he was waiting and there were 12 people between him. At my turn, I tried to take his bill but the others was not agree. So I exchange my place with that man and let him deposit the bill.

4- Give Food:

In D-Ground, I was with my friend and we were hanging out. In the mean time, a little child came to us and ask for money. We ignored him first because there were a lot of trained children. But after some times, he started weeping and said that Please give me some money, I am hungry. That thing melted our hearts and forced us to give something to him. We ordered some Baryani for him and talked a lot with him.

5- Made Tea for my family:

I use to make tea for my family at night. Both of my parents are doing job and at the end of the day, they both feel tiredness and stress. So I often make a tea for them so that they can feel relaxed. I also use to help my mom in kitchen, like whenever some guests are coming.

6- Seat for deserving:

In public transports, many of old people travel while standing because the man like us use to sit on the seats. I always try to give my seat to the one who is more deserving.

‘’One kind word can change someone’s entire day’’

We should always try to be kind and polite to others. Don’t wait for the opportunity, create it. Try to make a habit to show kindness only one time in a day and than see the change in the world.

‘’Let’s turn the word of mankind into kind-man’’

Stay blessed!
