The habit of getting things done on proper time and pace is very crucial in our life. It can save a lot of time of us and we can utilize that time to do other important things in our life. But the question is how can we do that? How can we manage our time so well. This is the problem face by everyone and most of that don’t know what to do about.

‘’You may delay, But time will not’’ — Benjamin Franklin

There is a term called procrastination in which people can’t concentrate or focus on one thing while doing something important. They can’t pay attention to the work they’re doing and that leads in poor time management. After doing research on it, people found that while they use to work, they don’t have any specific plan to do it. They also faced thought that irrelevant from the work and this things distract them. Same goes to me. I also have this habit and it wasted my so much time in the past. so what I did, basically I used to divide my task into parts according to time and tried to stick on the plan. That thing help me a lot and I was able to secure 50% of my time. But that was not enough for me. I wanted to secure maximum.

‘’All time management begins with planning’’ — Tom Greening

‘’People often complain about lack of time, when the lack of direction is the real problem’’ — Zig Ziglar

About 1 week ago, I heard about a technique called POMODORO METHOD developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980. This is a time management technique to getting things done on proper time. After focusing this method, I realized that It’s quite similar to that I am doing since past but there are some little changings. In this, we set a timer about 25 min and try to complete our work in the given time span and after that 5 min break to do extra thing to relax our mind.

I decided to apply these tricks while doing my weekly project work because this time the PW was quite lengthy. I divided all the activities on days and again divided of the day in specific time. When ever I used to do anything related to project, I started a timer and try to windup things according to that. No doubt, there were a lot of secondary thought and ideas that came into my mind but I noted that down on a paper and turn myself into the project immediately. After completing the work, I went on the list I prepared with extra things that were distracting me and completed that too. And I am surprised that this habit increases my productivity so far.

‘’The time is more valuable than money, make it FABULOUS’’

Always try to manages your time because it is the most precious thing you have. The minute you are going to spend this time, will never come back. So always try to gain maximum from it.

‘’The bad news is time flies, the good news is you are the pilot’’ — Michael Altshuler
