We will see in 2023 and beyond, how geopolitics shift from superior countries (Western Alliance) to resource-rich emerging economies. China has opened up a wider and commensurate space for cooperation with smaller countries. This is evidenced by President Xi continuing to meet world leaders offering economic cooperation. I am optimistic that resource-owning countries should be able to be independent without being affected by the dollar or the dominance of other countries.
