Hana makes multi-chain crypto simple — https://hanawallet.io/

This guide is for anyone who is an existing user of ICONex and wants to import their wallet into Hana.

Hana offers the same functionality as ICONex while enabling you to use additional chains such as Ethereum, Polkadot, Moonbeam, ICE etc.

Hana is currently available for Chrome, with mobile being released shortly.

Step 1 — Install Hana

You can install Hana from the Chrome store

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/hana-wallet/jfdlamikmbghhapbgfoogdffldioobgl

Once it’s installed you will see the Hana icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser.

Click the Hana icon to get started.

Step 2— Setup Hana

If you have an existing seed phrase from MetaMask, Trust, Polkadot.js or another wallet you can import that directly into Hana. This will automatically load your assets from supported chains.

If you don’t have an existing seed phrase click “Create account” and follow this guide https://docs.hanawallet.io/using-hana/getting-started

Step 3— Import your ICONex wallet to Hana

Once Hana is set up you’re ready to import your wallet from ICONex.

You can import existing wallets as a Keystore file or private keys. In this tutorial, we will do it with a private key.

Open ICONex. Select the three dots on the top right of the wallet you want to import to Hana and click “Backup wallet”

You will be prompted to enter your password, then click “Copy Private Key”

Now open Hana. In the top right corner select the 3 lines icon.

Click “Add a wallet”

Click “Restore a private key”

Click “Private key”.

Paste the private key you copied from ICONex.

We recommend removing your private key from the clipboard once you’ve pasted it into Hana.

Congratulations, you’ve imported your ICONex wallet to Hana 🎉

You can repeat this process if you have multiple ICONex wallets.

If you select the wallet name “Imported wallet 1” you will be able to confirm all the addresses for this wallet on all enabled chains.
