Giusè, thanks so much for this comment. This is exactly the definition of politics I want designers to take. It’s not about political party, it’s about how we achieve things together as a society.

When I say politics is a design constraint, I’m not just talking about designers as “political citizens” working in the context of society, but also as creators of work that influences society. It’s aspirational, but I want the industry to voluntarily adopt “positively influences society/demonstrates good ‘politics’” as a minimum requirement for considering design “good.”
