Kiwi Smoothie

A smoothie (alternatively spelled Smoothi, smoothee or smoothy, the name comes from the smooth property of the emulsion) is a blended and sometimes sweetened beverage made from fresh fruit (fruit smoothie), vegetables and in special cases can contain chocolate or peanut butter. Source..

This is also a great consumption in the morning and at night. Check the recipe below and start doing your favorite kiwi smoothie.

Recipe:

1 Tray of regular ice crushed in an ice crusher or food processor)
3 tbsps. of fresh honey
1/2 cup of blueberries
1/2 cup of strawberries
1/2 cup of freshly sliced kiwi fruit

Procedure:

1. Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor
2. Blend on “high” setting for a minute and a half
3. Check the consistency of the fruit smoothie becomes fine, and the color of the blended fruits have combined well
4. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.

Tip:

You can enjoy this delectable Kiwi Smoothie together with a large, low-sugar oatmeal cookie, as the two complement each other very nicely.

Cleansing Honey Tea

Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring hot or boiling water over cured leaves of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis. After water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world. Some teas, like darjeelings and Chinese greens, have a cooling, slightly bitter, and astringent flavour that many people enjoy. Tea is great for detoxification and for cleansing the body. Also, if you mix it with other ingredients which have equal health benefits then it will contribute even more to maintaining a healthy body. How to prepare the Cleansing Honey Tea? Check it out.

Recipe:

1/3 cup of fresh honey
2 black tea bags
1/2 cup of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
2 ½ cups of hot water
1/2 a stick of fresh cinnamon

Procedure:

1. Pour the hot water into a porcelain/ceramic tea kettle.
2. Dip in the tea bags and half a stick of cinnamon
3. Let the two ingredients soak for about four minutes.
4. Remove the tea bags and the cinnamon stick afterward.
5. Add the fresh honey and grapefruit juice.
6. Stir gently.
7. Serve the tea hot and enjoy!

Sweet Tofu Delight

Tofu, also known as bean curd, is a food made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into soft white blocks. Tofu has a low calorie count and relatively large amounts of protein. It is high in iron and depending on the coagulants used in manufacturing (e.g. calcium chloride, calcium sulfate, magnesium sulfate), it is often high in calcium and/or magnesium. Source

Fresh tofu
Honey
Light soy sauce

Procedure:

1. Use a small food brush to spread the honey and soy sauce over the tofu.
2. Stir-fry or grill the tofu.
3. Serve once cooked and enjoy.
