Support after addiction treatment.

From day one a large portion of treatment is dedicated to preparing you to make the move back home to live a drug free life. The first few months after leaving rehab is when people are most at risk.

The mission of the Alumni Relations Department at Hanley Foundation is to foster and support a continued, nurturing relationship between individuals and their families who have completed treatment for substance use and mental health disorders and are on their individual paths to recovery.

There will be daily challenges and temptations that clients will face once they leave a treatment facility and get back home. Staying sober will include applying the skills and techniques taught in treatment, but it also essential to have a good follow up care plan in place that will include continued support.

Every Tuesday evening, the Hanley Foundation offers an alumni support group.

All adult alumni and patients in at least their third week of treatment are welcome to enjoy a peer-led sharing group. This is not a Twelve-Step group, but is a dynamic and beneficial experience for both patients and alumni.

The Alumni Relations Department is establishing a series of Alumni Chapters to facilitate continued social and support activities. In addition to our “home base” chapter fellowship group in West Palm Beach, chapters have been formed in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Naples, Orlando and Atlanta, Georgia.

Whether you are an alumnus of the Hanley Center, a family member or loved one, or simply someone in recovery looking for ways to give back, we look forward to so many wonderful opportunities to work with you.
