i. thoroughness & comprehension (+)
The idea of creating your own #hashtag for a weekly series is very clever in a few ways: it creates your own deadline, it’s timely, and it writes your headline every week, so your nutgraph has to be all the more dynamic. I am confused/concerned as to the use of the word “wimmen” as the re-spelling of the word “woman” (i.e. “womyn”) has long been used as a way to exclude trans and nonbinary women, so an introductory piece explaining the purpose and ideas around this series would be beneficial (see Jo’s ChicaGO series for an example.)
ii. creativity (+)
The screenshots and GIFs are used effectively, but are still in need of attribution. The way they break up the text is great and allows you more breathing room as a writer, as you only need to write in effective chunks, instead of a longwinded longform essay. The use of “I” adds a conversational tone, as well as makes it a little less formal, which is always appreciated in the comix world.
iii. use of platform (+)
On what other site can you upload a full-size sheet from a comic book? I applaud you on your use of space and impact, as well as offering an appropriate teaser of this artist’s/writer’s work. I don’t see much critical writing on comix books, let alone with a focus on women. This platform offers a great way to build a community of people looking for just that.
