I love the idea of TV blogging (ex-TV blogger here) but this piece leaves me wanting, both a better understanding of why you chose to write about this, but also how does this inform your own writing (specifically for this class.) Will you be doing this every week or is this just a one off? Does this have to do with your residence in Chicago? etc. Also thanks for the spoilers, as I haven’t watched Shameless since S2.

ii. creativity (✓)

The quick-wittedness of this piece is a huge advantage; it’s clever and laugh-out-loud funny. The photo is nice, and it’s attributed, but it doesn’t do much to expand on the ideas you’ve touched upon.

iii. use of platform (✓)

I’m not sure if there’s a big community of TV bloggers on Medium, but an analysis like this would be extremely popular on Tumblr. I would suggest doing a little research to see how TV fandom does on Medium, to better serve your needs. The headline and nutgraph are lovely, and let the reader know what they’re in for.
