in your collaboration with yana, you use your personal influences and interests to create something that is representative of both of you, but very intriguing.

in yana’s review, i suggested the images be bigger, but now that i see them on your’s, i’m not sure! the image is slightly pixelated, and it’s difficult to read the poem as a whole, rather than stanza by stanza. guess you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

this piece could also use a bit of spellcheck and logical editing in the beginning (i.e. “east meets west” unless that was deliberate.)

i now see the overarching theme of two very different people collaborating with two very different views of the world, contemporary vs tradition, subtle vs obvious, russian vs chinese etc.

i love this compare and contrast method, it’s interesting and very exemplary of each of your desires as writers.
