i love that you collaborated with someone so close to you (can be very tricky!!) but it turned out so well and the two voices meddle with each other, but are strong in their own right.

the imagery of this piece is what is most striking. it’s relatable, and slow, but intimate and robust. i want more of this NOW! i love the gif at the beginning (i, too, am bruce dern incarnate) but doesn’t distract from the rather slow/somber tone at the beginning. you also are upfront about who your collaborator is AND i love the bio at the end! thank you for telling me more because me-as-audience wants to know!

the alternating italics, the punctuation style, and flow all work together, but are obviously their own element, much in the same way you and kate flow together, but are solid, separate, entwined entities.
