Saratoga

My Dad and I have never bonded much before I was in my 20’s. My teen years, I chose to not let him into my life as much as I should of. I think it was after getting out of a unhealthy relationship, that my eyes were open and clear and I finally realized what really mattered to me. I found that enjoying the times you have with your loved ones, and never taking those moments for granite, now had so much meaning. My Dad and I go on hikes together, we go to dinner often, drink beer, go to concerts and have recently gone on road trips together. We drove to Saratoga Springs to see Dead & Company play at SPAC. Something I never would of thought of doing with him when I was 16. I’m so grateful for the relationship we share and I will take his kindness, support and love with me wherever I go.
