omg…i’ve thought about compulsory hetersexuality a lot before as a bi woman who married a queer person…but this is so profound and really at the heart of it. this extends not just to sex but even to simple things like kissing and blow jobs, in my experience. the shame i’ve had to deal with after ‘casual’ hookups at parties…yikes. great piece.
