So true! What’s funny to me is that this shift (in my personal experience, based on no data at all) started with our parents — who love to complain about our entitled dreaminess — because they were the ones telling me to do it! Maybe this all started with them. Maybe we grew up watching our parents accumulate furniture and art and responsibilities and stress and stuff and stuff and stuff and we saw that it didn’t make them happy at all.
