So many of us have this love/hate relationship with math.

But for the curious-minded it becomes hard to ignore the poetic and ubiquitous nature of mathematics. The symmetry, the beauty of the intertwining branches of the language of the universe.

Being taught maths is not the same as discovering maths, I guess.

In my humble experience, once I’ve been inspired to explore the meaning and relationships of a mathematical concept; it is then that I seek the support of some of the fantastic resources like the Khan Academy (https://www.khanacademy.org).

I know many adults who have returned to high school (and sometimes primary school) level maths as carefully and progressively explained in this resource.
