Coding Is Over

This is standard female babble. You want everything to be pretty and fun and easy. Yes, there are lots of common solutions to common problems that can be incorporated seamlessly into almost any application, and that’s why we have libraries and frameworks.

But suggesting that engineer-level work is no longer necessary just glosses over all the problems that have nothing to do with the user interface. Honestly: the reason there are fewer women in STEM isn’t because of discrimination; it’s because an attitude like this — which is frustratingly common among female programmers (I can’t speak for other STEM fields) — makes you terrible at solving complex problems.

Go back to something you can handle, little girl. Maybe HR.
