Teen Arrested for Impersonating Doctor
A 19-year-old Floridian was arrested for impersonating a doctor in Stafford, Virginia. He was caught trying to buy a brand new Lexus using a fake identity with $35,000 he stole from a patient. He is currently in jail in Virginia; however he has denied all the charges put upon him.
Virginia and Supreme Court Review Bathroom Laws
The American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU, has requested the U.S. Supreme Court to review transgender bathroom laws in Virginia on behalf of high-school student, Gavin Grimm. The Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the school not allowing Grimm to use the male restroom, in which he identifies himself with. The school and court has come to the agreement Grimm will use a private bathroom until the case is settled.
Man Shot by Virginia State Police
Gary Turner, a 37-year-old Virginian, rammed his car into two police vehicules after being pulled over. He tried to flee the scene but was shot by one of the officers. He is being charged with two counts of destruction of property and with attempting to elude police officers.
