Dream is a part of our daily routine. They give our lives purpose, direction, and meaning. Furthermore, most of the time dreams also often reveal our problems and provide solutions without us even realizing.

We all have times where we wake up in the morning feeling super satisfied because we know we had a really nice dream. But wait, there’s always that one time after you get out of bed and wanted to look back to the same dream you had last night but no matter how hard you try to remember it just still doesn’t come to mind…

For my entire life, I’ve always wanted to see or look back at my own dreams. Especially the good ones. But most of the time after having a really nice dream I usually don’t remember exactly what happened. Therefore I wanted to create a fantasy device that allows us to physically “see” our own dreams. A dream projector.

This device allows us to project our dreams on any platform. (wall, ceiling, computer monitor)

When rolling the tape it starts to translate our dreams into high-resolution videos. After we wake up from the dream the tape stops rolling and automatically downloads our dreams into the hard drive. We can either choose to project the dream from the device itself or upload them to other devices to watch.

Think about how much potentials this device could bring to this world. Writers and filmmakers will have an easier time coming up with different ideas from different genres (horror, science fiction, romance, etc) since now they can reference ideas from their dreams. This could also be used in the medical field. We can see what patients are dreaming if they have trouble speaking or confronting. For patients with mental health issues, we can also see what is in their dreams and help doctors to analyze and figure out some potential treatments. In the very end, it can just be as simple as wanting to see that one really nice dream you don’t remember but wanting to look back to. These are only some small examples I can come up with for now but the potentials of this device are limitless.
