According to Wikipeida, branding is a set of marketing and communication methods that help to distinguish a company from competitors and create a lasting impression in the minds of customers. Many companies are beginning to understand that there is often little to differentiate between products in the 21st century. Branding remains the last bastion for differentiation.
I have worked in led display industry for more than 5 years, there were more than 200 led display companies in Shenzhen alone at the peak of the industry. The main reason for this phenomenon is that led display is a downstream industry and most companies only undertake the assembly work so there’s little difference between products of two brands.

We have seen a better brand communicating method in the field of digital marketing. The influencers are naturaly excellent product managers for most of them are experts in related areas and they can understand the followers well. So brand campaigns conducted by KOLs can be accurate and efficient. The biggest advantage is that the cost is much lower even with no cost if the promotion is very successful under ideal conditions because of the social network effects.
Maybe the needed products can be distributed to comsumers autimaticly is the absolute ideal situation but it’s almost impossible for the inevitable irrationality of human beings.
